  • Cotton - Most common canvas material made from woven cotton fibres.

  • Linen - Professional material with a smoother texture made from fibres of the flax plant.

Primer is used to seal and protect the frame from absorbing your medium while providing a smoother and stronger surface for you to work on.

  • Acrylic  - Most common Primer made from a synthetic polymer base. (white)

  • Traditional Gesso - Primer made from a natural whitening agent with a  glue binder. (Off-white)

  • Rabbit Skin Glue - Naturally sourced primer which tightens the canvas. Best used with linen. (Transparent)
